UPDATE: UK folks can now watch the interview and performance on the BBC's website here.
Those of you in the UK can tune in to BBC Breakfast on BBC1 tomorrow morning to see the band interviewed at 8.40am and then playing the show out at about 9.10am, with an acoustic performance of Sovereign Light Café. (It's likely to then be on the BBC iPlayer for seven days too.)

Suzanna asked the same question about the rock and roll lifestyle to Joss Stone this morning and got the reply that she had gone out to dinner and gone to bed by 11. Why is she so obsessed with this? I bet she'd be really shocked if someone turned round and said; 'I was so wasted last night I didn't know what I was doing'
Also, Richard did try to turn the conversation away from reaching number 1 on several occasions in his usual diplomatic way. I loved the explanation of what day it was: 'No ,that was yesterday, it's tomorrow now', Tom's comment of ' I went to bed at 7 o'clock last night' (well, you obviously needed it) and the fact that the car has massive dent in it (probably from an argument with a post). Look what you're doing when parking! The bee-keeping discussion with Bill was a bit odd as well, I'm not sure where Bill and Suzanne were getting the questions from.
They're just proud of reaching Number One again and having 5 in a row and catching up with The Beatles, and they have every right to be proud. They haven't come down from that high yet, no wonder they keep bringing it up after all the nonsense they've had to put up with from the press over the years. They seem to be quite a fixture on BBC Breakfast at the moment, that's twice this year already.
I'm not being funny but I turned off a short while into this interview. All the interviewers along with Tom and Richard seemed to talk abut was ''reaching number one..reacing number one''. I adore Keane and all their music, but this just all seems a bit rediculous, they are not a boy band whose careers depend on it, I'm not in a fan of the Beatles but the comparison just seems a bit weird with what they were saying during this interview. What is going on?
I am from Portugal, therefore would very much like to thank the Keane fans who informed the links for watching the interview outside the UK. Loved it, they were really great. Greetings to you all!
TheWiseGeordie - I was listening to radio 5 interview with KEane and the gentleman who was doing the interview mentioned to Keane that he would put money on the fact that they had the perfect tune for the Olympics and Tom and Richard didn't catch on - and he said the Starting Line and I thought good idea! I would be very disappointed if it didn't get used but whom do you contact?
Mr. km.com, please don't delete my message to Regina (I'll write in Portuguese). :) Ainda bem que fui útil, Regina. Beijos
@Brisa, your hints were really precious, I watched all vids, they're really cool. Beijos, Regina.

Well, the interview is on youtube as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Xa69dx1csE&feature=relmfu
I'm not from the UK, so it isn't working for me. If you're not from UK you can try to copy and past http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-18767775 (that one works for me). It's only the interview, but the performance is on youtube already: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycLlLttLJHw .

ANYONE ELSE THINK WE SHOULD START A CAMPAIGN TO GET 'ON THE ROAD' USED BY THE BBC OR WHOEVER AS AN OLYMPIC THEMED TRACK. IT IS SO UPBEAT AND HAS IDEA LYRICS. COME ON THE POWERS THAT BE - PULL YOUR FINGER OUT!!
Damn every time I take my eye off of the Keane website I miss a performance !
Enjoyed that, thanks :-)
Just come back home from seeing Keane at the Hastings Beer & Music Festival, also visited the Sovereign Light Cafe & recreated the photos on the Strangeland album. Can't get enough of Keane at the moment - looking forward to this!
