Yay, going to the O2 and Brighton, and somehow I managed to get front row seats for the O2, I really can't wait

Posted by tonilevans at 6:45pm, 21 Aug 2012

Cojoe, would have been great to see Keane at the closing ceremony-im definately biased!! :-))))

Posted by FABKEANE at 8:03pm, 13 Aug 2012

Given Keane's success as a global British band, they should definitely be performing at the Olympics Closing Ceremony - but then maybe I'm just biased!

Posted by Cojoe at 11:16pm, 12 Aug 2012

INSALL16 defo a global band, quite a few fans that i know of in the area now!! have a great time in london, cant wait for edinburgh on the 19th!!!! :)))))))))))))))))))))))))

Posted by FABKEANE at 9:54pm, 10 Aug 2012

Ah, we have an update. There.

Posted by justanotherdawn at 1:54pm, 10 Aug 2012

Is there a conspiracy of silence about the general sale? No links? 'Find it yourself' doesn't seem the smartest strategy to me.

Posted by justanotherdawn at 10:39am, 10 Aug 2012

Wahey! Got two tickets for Manchester. Cannot wait to see them performing in the centre of the arena. I'm sure everyone hopes this tour is recorded for a dvd/blu-ray release. How many of us were so disappointed when one failed to materialise for the Perfect Symmetry Tour? Why was that anyway? Anyone know? Roll on November!!!!!!

Posted by DEPUTYHAWK at 7:20pm, 09 Aug 2012

just got 2 for Margate and now sold out, wanted 3 so as to take my 14 year old to her first concert. Fingers crossed for Fri....

Posted by Spursroy at 10:14pm, 08 Aug 2012

I get it,just missed out,boo hiss hiss..up early Friday so!

Posted by slapperangel at 8:55pm, 08 Aug 2012

Congrats everyone who gets tickets!

Posted by Hattie at 8:53pm, 08 Aug 2012

What am I doing wrong, every single time I click on buy ticket it brings me to a list of venues which I cannot click on to buy....What???????

Posted by slapperangel at 8:46pm, 08 Aug 2012

yes i got tickets for the User Hall 19th November. We'll be seeing you there! love that place! and i love KEANE of course.

Posted by dogivy at 8:39pm, 08 Aug 2012

Hi. I tried this morning and, YES. I did get four tickets. My wife, my sister and my four-year-old daughter will fly from Spain to be fot the second time in the O2 with this fantastic band! For us all this is completely amazing. No problems with tickets presale. In Spain we could only buy tickets from ten.

Posted by joaquin_garcia at 7:31pm, 08 Aug 2012

My sister did go with o2 priority tkts but that was a real pain as well...we have managed to get tickets in the end but by trying to get them through the website is a complete no no. I have heard so many horror stories about the website not letting you log on when purchasing tickets.....roll on november....just want to say sorry for the earlier rant but was just so so looking forward to these concerts after their fab summer tour. X

Posted by Doppelganger at 7:03pm, 08 Aug 2012

@ingram: I am inclined to see it the other way round: Richard experiencing with the Olympic tickets what Keane fans experience all the time. Scalpers will be having a good time, again.

Posted by Gudrun (Austria) at 6:40pm, 08 Aug 2012

Doppleganger - 02 priority were selling tkts as well!

Posted by Annette M at 3:20pm, 08 Aug 2012

The sandbag system is rubbish and always has been, I don't know why Keane continue to use them! I had O2 floor tickets row A-D in my basket then got to the end only to be told there was none, the sold out signs then went up on all tickets. An hour and a half later I checked again and managed to get rows D-S so maybe they are releasing them in batches? could of waited till Friday but no doubt the touts (getmein, seatwave etc)already have all the best seats!!!

Posted by eemrb at 12:30pm, 08 Aug 2012

Have floor tickets for 02. Haven't seen the boys since Wembley on the Iron Sea tour, so very excited.

Posted by meltchett at 12:22pm, 08 Aug 2012

I understand it was also possible to purchase O2 priority tickets, which might account for the discrepancy. I follow a number of overseas fans on Twitter, but haven't encountered anyone who managed to buy their tickets any earlier than 9am. The sold out sign comes up quite a lot in the presales, unfortunately, and you have to decide whether to keep going back to see if more tickets come up, or try for another venue. 'Sold out' doesn't always mean 'sold out'. Sorry, this isn't particularly helpful right now. Maybe Friday? I'd earmarked a handful of desirable spots beforehand, and they weren't all available in the presale.

Posted by justanotherdawn at 12:20pm, 08 Aug 2012

Fabkeane me and the Missus will be travelling to the O2 from sunny Stockton on Tees! If they have fans in Stockton then they are definitely a global band!!!!

Posted by insall16 at 12:16pm, 08 Aug 2012

What the hell is going on????/ How comes a lot of people from outside the UK have tickets HOURS before UK fans???? Just beeen informed that a friend of mine that HER mate got tickets at 8 am!!!!! I am really really angry about this...I expect it from other bands but not Keane...surely if we are told on the website to call a certain time, thats what we all do? Or if someone does call early they should be informed that they have to wait till 9 am when the lines open properly???? Grrrrrr........was so looking forward to seeing them as well....poooooooooooooo!!!

Posted by Doppelganger at 11:31am, 08 Aug 2012

Doppleganger - Keane are very popular ( and not greedy their prices compared to a candian star that I hd to book tkts for my daughter are well resonable) despite what the music press might think! But the last time I didn't get tkts at the fan presale I managed to get them on general sale which is friday. Don't mess though get on that website straight away! That is what I am going to do

Posted by Annette M at 11:30am, 08 Aug 2012

Not impressed AT ALL. Sister tried desperately to get tickets and was informed at 9.03 am that all the tickets for the O2 gig had SOLD OUT already. I have noticed this tends to happen a hell of a lot with the pre sales....even when you do ring up when you should, its like the tickets have been sold HOURS before. Absolutely disgusting...if this goes on I'll stick to seeing bands that I know I CAN get tickets to...without having being informed that "Whoops, we have sold all the tickets already" I've liked Keane for years but this kind of thing just gets me down....they are one of THE best live bands and I am glad that they are so popular but how the hell can we dedicated fans ever get to see them when we are told when pre sale ticket sales start...which we take on board...only to be told when we do call that "Sorry...sold out"..or that you can only book 2 at a time. Its a sad ol' day.

Posted by Doppelganger at 11:17am, 08 Aug 2012

Poor experience of attempting to buy tickets at 9am. Fill in all payment info, press submit, and the page just loops back to the start. Very disappointing and feeling let down. :(

Posted by LincsLad at 9:29am, 08 Aug 2012

Hi Cojoe - Thank you!! I'll face the wrath of the headteacher later!! Got our tickets for Brighton this morning and cant wait. Your 4 year old will be ready for the next tour :)

Posted by TomsMic at 9:08am, 08 Aug 2012

KUEFC - yes, this isn't the best set of dates (the only chances for anyone from Yorkshire northward are Manchester and Edinburgh) but it is a bit rich to complain about them missing Liverpool and Sheffield, when they are within 40 miles of Manchester and Nottingham. Newcastle - fair enough, but it staged a gig on the last tour. I'm having to travel 120 miles to get to Edinburgh having travelled 150 miles to Glasgow last time, but I don' complain because they are a global band playing all over the world, and my distances are tiny compared to what some Americans etc have to travel. They have a tight schedule, and they can't play in everyone's backyard.

Posted by Aberdeenkeane at 8:44am, 08 Aug 2012

got tickets for edinburgh, including an overnight stay as travelling from sunny stockton on tees. canot wait to see keane again, roll on nivember :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Posted by FABKEANE at 8:34am, 08 Aug 2012

Worst ever experience of buying tickets on keane website - one minute you have them in your basket you are all set to pay and they disappear! Happened a number of times. Very very frustrating! Now I know how Richard feels when he is trying to buy Olympic tickets!

Posted by Ingram at 8:28am, 08 Aug 2012

What is the secret to buying to tkts on the presale cos I always miss out!

Posted by Annette M at 8:24am, 08 Aug 2012

Ive been to quite alot of concerts, but london 02 will be a special one for me. Bringing my mum, dad, hubby, and 8 year old son. Can't wait for them to experience such a fantastic concert!!! Wooooo hoooo!!

Posted by annlouise at 8:30pm, 07 Aug 2012

Hi TomsMic. Go for it. It's only one day and your son will have a fantastic time and never forget it. It'll also give you a lot of bargaining power on getting him to behave between now and then - LOL. Wish I could use that with my 4 year old but he's a bit too young to go even though he loves dancing to Keane. Good luck.

Posted by Cojoe at 8:14pm, 07 Aug 2012

Great news that 3 of the gigs will be performed "in the round". Am planning to go to Nottingham and London so will get double helpings. Guys - you are amazing. Promise that you'll take a year off to recharge the batteries when this year has finished. You've certainly earnt it and will no doubt be ready for it. Take care of yourselves. See you in Madrid, Nottingham and London xx.

Posted by Cojoe at 7:51pm, 07 Aug 2012

My 10 year old son is dying to see Keane again (me too) - anyone think its ok to take him out of school for the day to get there??!! Mum-in-a -dilemma

Thank you so much for doing some more UK gigs. I have missed the last two tours due to being on holiday at the times. Will be waiting on Wednesday at 9am for Manchester tickets and hope it will be as good as the Perfect Symmetry Tour. Loving Strangeland! Cheers lads!

Posted by DEPUTYHAWK at 11:20pm, 03 Aug 2012

awwwwwwwwwwwww what a nice new!!!!

Posted by pskeane at 9:55pm, 03 Aug 2012

Disappointing no Newcastle/other North East show...last time was in the middle of exams so I couldn't go and I'd love to relive the MEN concert I went to back in 2009. With it being mid-week mid term I won't be able to travel home to Manchester but *may* try and make it to London...though my weekends are looking potentially busy as it is, not good for a final year student!

Posted by Thryn at 9:50pm, 03 Aug 2012

Posted by notiga at 5:40pm, 03 Aug 2012

congrats guys fave fun ! waiting for next year to see you in PERU xx

Posted by -RosMi at 4:57pm, 03 Aug 2012

EUNUCH - I not trying to be patronising or anything - I have kids, I cant afford a car , haven't had a holiday for four years - But , I paid £28 X 2 to see Keane at Brixton it was the best nites (actually the only nites out i had) the whole year. And they gave it 100%. Also they can't travel everywhere and I believe someobody had breakdown whilst touring to much before!

Posted by Annette M at 4:24pm, 03 Aug 2012

great to see them at Manchester, cause thats near where i live.. but its unfair on other fans were they arent playing live, but played before. But cant waite :)

Posted by jwolk86 at 3:59pm, 03 Aug 2012

@ Annette M, but they havent really toured the whole of the UK have they? they are missing citys out left and right, Citys like Liverpool where the last time they played the echo arena they had them in the palm of their hands, and could easily of started to build the fanbase, but then we get snubbed basically.

Posted by KUEFC09 at 3:22pm, 03 Aug 2012

YAY MANCHESTER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by Minerva777 at 3:20pm, 03 Aug 2012

wish there will have a video of Asia tour like this...Love from Taiwan-Chi xx

Posted by rainborn8228 at 2:51pm, 03 Aug 2012

ok.. cool. but What about A NINE DATE ARENA TOUR FOR THE USA AND COME TO PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND At THE DUNKIN DOUNTS CENTER!!!! PLEASE!!!!! PROVIDENCE LOVES YOU!!!!

Posted by providence at 1:38pm, 03 Aug 2012

Annette M what a ridiculous comment, how the hell can you suggest "Oh just travel from Liverpool to London, it isn't far" when you have no idea what that person's budget and schedule is? The fact that other people have travelled huge distances is completely irrelevant. Not all of us can afford that luxury just to see a band.

Posted by Eunuch at 12:33pm, 03 Aug 2012

O2 GIG @ NEWCASTLE WAS GREAT,PLEASE ADD NEWCASTLE TO THE ARENA DATES

Posted by PH1L at 12:04pm, 03 Aug 2012

Yippeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait for the O2 London

Posted by Ingram at 12:01pm, 03 Aug 2012

I'm looking forward to read the South America tour dates. Fingers crossed. Beijos, Regina.

Posted by Regina Brz at 11:51am, 03 Aug 2012

ISA, from Brasil *** I can´t make plans when the date is so far, but who knows it can be a good excuse to me to go back to Edimburgh and see again that lovely city and also watch a Keane show? I will think about it. Pity will be so cold, I am too old and can´t stand cold days anymore, let´s see.... Lots of love! XXXXX

Posted by Isa at 11:49am, 03 Aug 2012

Thank you so much for coming back to Nottingham - I'm so excited. It'll be the third time this year - woohoo!!!

Posted by Cojoe at 11:17am, 03 Aug 2012

KUEFC09 - Keane have the just toured the UK, they have toured north america, they are going to tour Europe they did Russia - guessing they are going to do South America - they cannot tour the whole of the UK again! Also I ws standing next to people from German, Brazil, Sweden, Spain at the Brixton gig. They had all travelled huge distances so going from Liverpool to London isn't far they are definitely worth it!

Posted by Annette M at 10:04am, 03 Aug 2012

woohoo!!!! You're coming back to Scotland!!!! Not missed a scottish date yet and will NOT be missing this one either!! See you 19th Nov. Can't wait!! Love you guys.xxxx

Posted by JenniferP at 10:04am, 03 Aug 2012

Oh, so that's why you didnt come to Brighton last time!!! Hope you are enjoying your break and enjoying the Olympics!

Posted by indiegirl1980 at 9:46am, 03 Aug 2012

Great but why no Liverpool? Sheffield? Newcastle? so many places ignored.

Posted by KUEFC09 at 9:34am, 03 Aug 2012

Brilliant I was really regretting not booking more tkts - you were so good at Brixton! lilybet88 I was standing next to somebody who had travelled from Brazil to see Keane at Brixton - so get on a bus or a train, it will be worth I can guarantee that! I feel guilty though - Keane take care though youve got stressed out with too much touring before! But thanks again!!

Posted by Annette M at 9:32am, 03 Aug 2012

Great, but I'm in Florida, but hopefully can get tickets for Bournemouth the day after we are back...
