sorry about the delay, but here are some more pics from the train in Spain, and Bilbao. It was a really fun trip... from the Kentish Town Forum, to a brand new city for us - with a lot more new places too. i think that's been my favourite aspect of this year - so many new places and friends. we'll do more next time!

just soundchecked, all good - gonna be strange to play our 121st and final show of this album. it's been a lot of fun. had a chance to say hi to a few of our many lovely fans out here in Spain, and then to admire the Guggenheim as the sun set as we drove back to the hotel. went there earlier and loved the Frank Lloyd Wright exhibition, and the Richard Serra sculptures - i thought they were fantastic. have given up trying to post pics - the hotel internet is rubbish. will try again later. sorry - been trying since 6pm. enough!

Hello! I saw the Kandinsky exhibition at the Guggenheim here in NY and loved it, as well. I was especially drawn to "Sky Blue", "Various Actions", "Development in Brown", "Black Lines" and "Light Pic". If you're in NY any time from Nov 22 to April 1 you should check out the Tim Burton exhibition at the MoMA. Can't wait! Great photos...I enjoy looking at them on the subway ride to work. Thanks for the support, Agnes! But it was more than that, not only the feeling of "saving the elephant", but the feeling of "Perfect Symmetry..". The colorful elephants made it visible, this vibe. The world can be changed, if we really want to. Positive action will retrieve positive reaction. And I couldn't help but thinking of Keane, the song Perfect Symmetry; the positive actions for Rwanda, Warchild and Troy Davis. Keane represents this Perfect Symmetry (and I guess -know for sure!!- not only for me!). That's why I wanted to share this idea, this feeling.. And just thinking of a cute little PS-elephant "walking" through Hyde Park, showing his/her power and energy.. :))).. Elephantastic!
Hi, sorry but that is just me again !... Yes I agree with Martine, you could do something for the elephants too, Richard... They are so smart !... I think so Bryan ADAMS had done something like that some years ago and take a look at his charity foundation !... But relating to music, I forgot to say that I really love the song Relator/Scarlett JOHANSSON-Pete YORN at this time and I also heard and loved Hell/TEGAN & SARA (Richard, I seem to remember you appreciate their music !)... Actually, this very fast song makes me think to Heartbreaker/Pat BENATAR and I don't why but these twin girls remind me of Pat BENATAR (maybe seen from an airplane, there's a vague physical resemblance because of the brown hair and short hairstyle or something in the face and in the voice, but most of all their dynamics too)... Wow... it's been nearly a year since Barcelona and that picture of the RENFE train in what I guess is Barcelona train station brings it all back - Keane, Barcelona, the overnight train to Madrid (the good and bad of that), Madrid, Lisbon, everything.... ahhh good times. Thank you Richard for the interesting mix of pictures. It's nice to see things we've never seen before, like the station ceiling made of boards. I like the mosaic too, the pic of the three persons on a bench, etc. I'm glad to hear you're in the studio but I wonder when you had time to write music with all the past gigs. I don´t know what strange phenomenon is capable of making Keane appear in special moments of life. This was not an exception. I´m thankful I was part of this last gig and I hope many more will come soon. It´ s time to rest and make new music flow again. Nowadays there is carried out a project of reform designed by the architect Richard Rodgers to construct a mall and of leisure. Thank you Keane during one so fantastic night. Hello dear Rich! I'm glad the things is going well. I'm so sorry about the internet. I admire Frank Lloyd Wright and his projects, the concept of organic space inspires the whole work . I am impressed with the project called Falling Water and Richard Serra was in Brazil in 2008 and talked about his job in steel,sculptures in large scale. He said: The viewer is encouraged to move around, sometimes over, in and through the sculptures, to discover multiple perspectives and what it really means.Best of luck Keane and a BIG kiss to Tom.
