@ hey lunadelalba, i also think sir paul is the easiest pick being that it may be the most familiar name and similar genre for many current keane fans. i'm surprised no one has picked this up yet but the driving beat behind this mash-up seems to be built around dj jazzy jeff and fresh prince's 'summertime' (which in turn was sampled from kool & the gang's 'summer madness' song). you can totally hear it towards the very end of the keane vs. mccartney mash-up! ok, i am a super dj geek (lol). always, lord byron the girl

Hmmmm......I think I only liked: the bedshaped one, because it keeps this low mood, but Idk....and the pony pony haha, that was funny, I gave my vote to that one.......I liked the one morcheeba one, because its the only one where you can hear a lot of Tom's voice :D, but wasn't my favorite...and I liked the first one, but I think it has too much of Timbaland, and too little of Keane :) Great work guys, very funny :)

Just put my opinion about the mashups, i chose the one with sir Paul and i thought it was great, those trombones, or something going on after every sentence were very well put. And as i saw the results, it seems that many of us, keane's fans, have choosen the same! The people have spoken!

are you planning an acid house album guys?. MC Cartney seems an easy option and clear influence. With respect to the other ones we may have fun with such a contrast . I think this a hard task and I always has in mind the version that Puff Daddy did of Roxane by the Police ENJOY THE CHALLENGE but Tom voice will be covered by the music of those house musicians . We all will be dancing but it´s a pity as we already dance Keane . Favourite?None of them probably Paul Mc Cartney but you wont get what your looking for XXXXXXXXXXXX

@ honey and finishi, i agree that this might be a little test to acclimate us to the kanye/k'naan/keane collaborations. hhaah i'm sure, it's a big difference btw what the collabos might sound like vs the mash ups but if this is a test then i agree with miha that it might be a good idea for keane to feel out the hip-hop / r 'n' b / dance websites that might not know about the band for marketing purposes if they haven't done so since many current keane fans (as site visitors) seem to go more towards the awesome mash up of the classic yet similar sounds of paul mccartney vs. keane. but who knows? they may pick this one too b/c it's pretty good and i'd rock it in a set too! either way, thanks again for opening many of us up to these different music perspectives and sounds! always and forever, lord byron the girl

Holy-Mashups! Who would have guessed that Tim's melancholy piano melodies would blend so well with rap?! Now I simply need to hear Tom bustin' out da rhymes in rap format!!! Perhaps in the K'naan collaboration? Anyhoo, my vote goes to Morcheeba vs. Keane; Somewhere Only We Know sounds so chilled in this version. Sorry for God (Paul) but that's a bit too classic and so finally I voted for Miss Kelis for fun (Funny when she waves her hands like to dry the nail varnish and the mix of these 2 vid is hoot !...And hot !)... By the way, the mix with Janet isn't bad at all too and I had a soft spot for the combination 2Pac+Bedshaped but I don't like some parts of the song with the female voice... Oh dear, tonight there's a terrible thunderstorm + lots of flash of lightning this minute and I hate that... I'm scared... Bye !!!

i love this! i would have chosen the let's dance/spiralling but from the list my vote goes for kelis (radio edit, of course). the paul mccartney is very nice and is awesome for some of the 'old school' keane fans but i'd love to see keane with a shot of 'naughtiness' as we saw in the live mash up w/ 'dirtylicscious.' besides, i dig the crazy contrast (britpop/hiphop, melancholy/debauchery, good boys/bad girls) with KELIS VS KEANE! knowing my own crazy tastes, i think the clubbing hip-hop hipster fashionistas will devour this. keane and crew you all are so awesome! congrats in advance to whoever the winner might be! forever yours, lbtg
