On May 7th - the day that Strangeland was released here in the UK - Keane recorded a special show for BBC Radio 2 at the Radio Theatre in London's Broadcasting House. I was wondering where SLC and ABD went! Did they play Disconnected as well as I was expecting to hear that. There were more old songs than I expected and in fact we heard more of the set than I was expecting, Jo Whiley has announced things starting at 8 which start at 9, so I was surprised when it did start at 8.30. I thought that Richard going into the audience during Sea Fog was a really nice touch, and I liked the description of the drums as : 'all the pots and pans'- conjured up a lovely image of the child Richard literally getting the pots and pans out of the cupboards to 'play drums' on them. Tom very chatty and on good form, a touch emotional about The Starting Line but I get a bit emotional about that as well as I have had to start all over again yet again recently. Is it just me, or do ITAW and Crystal Ball now go twice as fast as they used to? Maybe I'm just getting old. I liked: 'make some noise....and some more, and a bit more!'

"Strangeland" on my stereo ... music in my head ... Tom's voice in my heart .. and I like it ... Thank you Tom, thank you 4 "Worthy Heirs" of four other boys in the wind! It is true the English Pop Rock as I like .... I better understand the hysteria of some fans .... oops ... Another mythical album ... I kiss you ... much .. much ... to madness ...!!
This was a lovely concert! Don't want to be a pest but if someone could tell Jesse that his bass line in On The Road was incredibly fun to listen to? Can't wait to hear it in real-time, real-space.

It wasn't filmed, just recorded. They cut SLC and ABD! Richard's face was so funny when Tom called him the laziest drummer! He came and stood just near us during Sea Fog.
