Loved the first part of the interview but I cant watch the other part...;( and I did sign up but somehow I cant watch the wilde video. Can somebody help me please???
The interview they were complaining about is The Times interview which is in the press/web snippets thread. I read it as the boys being in on the joke and willing to answer the questions and the 'how posh are you' quiz. I wouldn't have drawn attention to it otherwise as I don't like to think of the boys being upset. What Christian had to say is true; the band never used to be like that. I remember watching interviews where they looked so embarrassed and were so defensive, and we never got the same level of jokes and banter as we do now, and that's so nice to see.
I love when Richard asks "When are we starting the interview?" This is five minutes of Jesse-bashing and two minutes of talk about the album.

What is the interview that Tim and Richard were complaining about? I think that Richard, Tim, Tom and Jesse are to nice to the journalists that are annoying them. I don't care what school they went to it didn't help them musically. They are just a talented bunch. And sadly that spawns jealousy!

You guys are so hilarious. Richard- "Total bullshit" and Jesse with his dog bed- that was a bit harsh. But seriously though, you guys were really charming and the interview was very enlightening on the inner workings of Keane. And I love your British accents. Coming from Pheonix AZ ( about as Southwest of the US as you can get) it was quite refreshing. Love you four, thanks for this awesome interview, and Strangeland rocks!!
Dear Keane, thank you so much for this lovely interview. I am just in love with your sense of humor. I really enjoyed it, especially when you guys addressed the issue of journalism. I love your irony since this is the way you should look at the critics, who nowadays have run out of ideas of what to write about. It seems they all converge into the same script, and most of them don't go deeper anymore. It is easy to slash bands without being objective, and they usually like to make stereotyping. Anyway, be yourselves always; honesty in making what you do will get you further and will win you more loyal fans. You give such a positive message with your songs in a world so out of love and values, that it is very comforting knowing that there is still a band that through their songs reminds us of what is really important in life. Gudren I won tkts to the disconnected Q&A ( and I only discovered Keane before the Night Train Album) So it is possible. Cant wait to see the film of that I ws totally startstruck, but it probablly wont get posted. But its good that bands recognize their long term loyal fans too! (Tom definitely recognised that lady who been to see them 92 times and somebody from Agentina at Bexhill Del Warr pav.

athallie is right, you do have to sign up if you want to see the whole interview, they don´t charge you, but these days names and mail adresses are being sold to companies for advertisment, so guess I am not going to sign up. AND, I keep wondering, how come we can always see the same faces in the audience at events like these?
