Hello everyone,
Podcasting duo Chris and Andrew from Beyond the Iron Sea here again. As you might recall, a little while ago Keane offered us the chance to put some of your questions to them in very special fans' video interview. We plucked out the best of your emails and took them along to the V Festival, where we cornered the band in their baking-hot dressing room for a grilling (almost literally). You can see the results above!

Enjoyed the Q&A session. Wow! Andy & Chris, thanks for selecting my question “WHAT TYPE OF CONCERT GOER ARE YOU?” However the 2nd part of that was a bit taken out of context. Wasn't interested in their preferred listening location (although that's cool to know)... When they are on the other side of the stage, do they sing along, dance, and scream at concerts? Or are they more low-key? Perhaps just bobbing their head to the beat and applauding at the end of songs? Karen - NYC

NOOO!! flaming lips are horrible, they played as a warm up in coldplay gig. The first 10 minuts were great! but then everything was the same stuff (with the bonnie dancers, a frog an another dancing alien) and the songs were terrible, it was just noise!. Talking about other things, I like Tom's law!. And the money that the goberment spend in the army should be spend in better educaction for the poor children of UK or other contries, or maybe creating working programs for the jobless people.

Thank you very much for the great news about the B-sides album! I'm delighted! I guess you don't know yet which songs or how many songs will be on the album. Your albums usually have 11 songs, except for the future mini-album, but in that case, if 11 is not enough, you can put more songs. You're prolific enough, aren't you? I'm saying this because I've got two albums with 16 songs each, and the'yre all great. Well, one is a best of so it couldn't be otherwise. I don't think you need to make a best of by the way. What to choose ? Better buy the albums. I like very much "On a Day Like Today" but it's not a B-side, so far as I know, and it's not in every album too, so all I can do is to send that little petition of mine: "Dear Keane, could you put 'One a Day like Today' in the B-sides album ? Thank you very much", whatever the outcome. Enjoy your days off!

Oh wow. "You always seem to know what's going on, often before WE do," God, that's priceless; talk about stalkers. Hahaha. I do love the color green --it's the easiest on the human eye-- but green checked sleep wear... Hmmm. Politics... I don't even know what to say. I love politics but sometimes it just causes too much friction in my opinion. Now I know I've said this again and again, (Hahaha...) but I just wanted to let you guys know that Keane had influenced me and changed me for the better. I am so thankful I was exposed to your music. Your music has helped me take a step forward to realizing who I am. You boys make me proud, I love you all, and keep up the good work. Much love to Keane and the crew.

I'm in favour this kind of stuff everyday and everyday is KEANE's day too !... True that time flies on km.com (not really cool for the oldest !)... Seems like it was yesterday but I think you were at The GQ Awards Ceremony, last year... You've covered so many roads this year !... Richard, politicians are killers anyhow, so please try to think instead to a photoblog (it's unfair to keep us in suspense since you know how we love it !) and kudos to Jenson voted Sportsman of The Year at The GQ Awards who arrived at the Ceremony with his «Japanese lingerie model girlfriend who looked stunning in a gold mini-dress» as said the review, Woohoo !!!... By the way, I heard that our French rally racer Sébastien LOEB could make an entrance in F1... Tom, there's no more sun and you are not anymore beneath the sunshade !... Tim, as usual, you seem to be a well behaved child !... Thanks and congrats to the folks, to the questioners and to the lads who answered with their legendary kindness... ♥You are Love♥.

There's this very blatant, collective sigh of relief from the three men to be able to speak to other people than the press. So they're speaking in a very open and informal manner and their communication towards each other is totally different from the countless video interviews we've seen. We've HEARD this kinda thing before (with Tim interviewed by C&A on the podcast for example), but haven't seen it before. An absolute delight, a big thank you to all involved and bring on the rest of the interview!

@ Oona : I don't know if logic actually rules or not, but that's the first idea that came out of my mind !!!!! I also think that even though they love performing in front of thousands of people and are used to be under the spotlights, well, Tim is quite more shy and maybe more introvert than Tom. What do you think ?

@Oona : lol the guy in sunglasses is the leading vocal so he's more than used to speak (very) loud, the guy in the green t-shirt is backing vocal so he's not that used to speak loud...logical theory isn't it ? ^^ Anyway, go for Thomas Oliver Chaplin president haha.
