Well, look what we just found tucked away in our laptop case! We'd forgotten that, just as Keane were about to take to the stage at V Festival in Chelmsford, we got Tim, Tom and Richard to sign a setlist from that night's show - to give away to you folks.
If you'd like to win it, simply send an email to competitions@keanemusic.com with your name and address, before 10am (UK time) on Friday, September 11th 2009. Only one entry per person, please. First one picked at random after the closing date will be sent the setlist (wherever in the world they are).
(Notice the lack of Cast No Shadow - which really was a last minute decision)

By the way it could be a good idea for you to write a diary. Some novels are based on true life (Little Women for instance). Instead or trying to remember things all you'll have to do is open your diary. But the first piece of advice I mentioned is still interesting because it's specially meant for writing novels.
lord_byron, it's me again answering your post. I'm glad you appreciated the little piece of advice. I'm glad you finished writing what you wanted within the time limit you set. Deadlines are good incentives indeed. And thanks a lot for what you wrote about me. All I do is trying to give some explanations. As fans recently said there can be misunderstanding due to language barrier. I don' write by the way, but I've been keeping a diary for several years now to remember things I want to remember. But to be honest I hardly read again what I wrote, so what's the point ? Cheers!
work it, lkc! i like your naughty girl swagger @ mihajasoa! girl, i am sorry for the delayed response here. sometimes, i forget to check the archives. actually, i took the time to do a little creative journaling of my first keane concert experience that's wiil be in the forum under the live topic. (@ lkg you might like it with this line: "...he roughed up his keyboard with violent passion..." whoa.) @ mihajasoa, thank you so much for the writing advice. i am definitely feeling that french writer's tips. sometimes i get total blocks and can't do anything for weeks on end except scribbles and notes in pads i carry with me everywhere too! i not a serious serious writer - yet! i am just a lowly student on fellowship with too much time on my hands so all i can do is write (and check km.com). lol. but what keeps me going is having an incentive set up on a certain date that keeps me focused towards my goal. like the keane concert. i actually forced myself to finish a writing project in my hotel room before the concert and it worked! how about you? do you write as well? you have a good way of drawing together strands of random conversations here in relation to keane and also to bring the peace with other commenters when things start to get heated. yours, lbtg

lord_byron: I hope you're all right. How are things doing with writing novels ? I remember something a French writer said about gathering material for her novels (sorry I can't remember her name). Well, she notes down everything she thinks is whorth noting down, wherever she may be, even in the underground,or subway. It's a good way to remember things since ideas are fleeting. But it was not just about writing ideas, she was also recording things that were happening. Hope this tip will be helpful to you. Kindest regards. Take care!

Densi, I'm a little afraid of cutting my skin, but I wouldn't judge anyone who does if that's how they want to express themselves. The color red is symbolic of love, life, passion, and sex. So it really isn't a strange gesture at all. BTW, Densi, there are people in this world who have lots of money, but no class. Then there are people like me who have no money. Period. Here is a nice and easy recipe for rabbit/ bunny stew: Wash and dry cleaned rabbit. Place in kettle with celery,salt,pepper,carrots,potatoes,parsley. Cover; simmer 2 hours or until rabbit is tender. Add potatoes; blend flour and water. Stir into stew. Cook until thickened and add parsley. Bon appetit!

Hola, Keane kiddies residing in the magical land of Keanevania! Hope everything is well in your corner of the world. This contest reminded me of something I've been meaning to ask here. Does anyone know what the care instructions for the Keane pillowcases are? They didn't come with any, at least not the ones I got. I bought both pillowcases and thought just to keep it as collectibles. That changed the other day when I ran out of clean pillowcases. It doesn't say anywhere on the pillowcases whether they should be washed in cold or hot water, gentle cycle or not. I'm worry that if I wash them wrong, they could fade or something like that. Please help me on this one as I don't want to wake up one day with half of "Bedshaped" lyrics permanently printed on my face. Thanks, guys!
